Update: i had nightmare all night long. Honestly i don't know if having insomnia is better or nightmares. You tell me.

5 things

1. When I'm stuck in traffic jams- I blast my iPhone and dance in the car. Not like shuffling but you know- just grooving! And I seriously don't care if others look.

2. When My friends were singing the birthday song for me. My world stopped. And I looked around. I did not ask for anything but I gave thanks for such beautiful people in my life.

3. I am very ordinary but in my own eyes- I sometimes glow with such beauty.

4. I am a boring person. And I love how I can see beauty in my everyday boring life.

5. I wished people understood that fast lanes are for fast people. Cars or walking lanes. There's bound to be some who just don't understand eh. Gets to me- all the time.

Minor Update

Pressure cooker it is! My current life. It's kinda of a love-hate affair but I think it's more incline to a love thing. Learning so much. :) but have I mentioned the traveling time? It's appalling! Some night I come home really late- totally exhausted but that is when my body thinks its the best time to suffer from insomnia. Seriously? Seriously!! And the next morning I just want to stand right in front of a bus.

So today I took a day off. Just to relax. I had so much fun. You know- not rushing, not thinking, just doing what I want to and relax! I was feeling a little off and zombie-fied - so I went to the theatre. And watch The Dark Knight Rises for the second time. Man- it wasn't until then I realized I wasn't zombie-fied. Christopher Nolan never disappoints. Never. If you haven't catch the show! Go ahead! Let it blast your mind.

Quarter of a century!

Firmly believes that birthdays are very intimate affairs- at least to me.

Birthdays for me, is the one day I count how many miles I have walked and ran for the past year. Intimate, close and very private for me.

This year- a surprise birthday party for me.

Life is good.

Today work was consuming. Actually it is consuming every other day but today especially- tough day.

One of those days I would really want to play In the rain or feel the wind on my skin. But none of that is taking place. So here i am with an awesome book with a few pieces of chocolate.

Took a moment to breath, and I realized that life, is wonderful. Even on a not so shiny day.

The Good, Bad and everything in between.

Working in a new environment, everything so shiny and new. Everything perfect. Everyday i travel for about 1.5 hours to and fro to reach my office. That would be 15 hours a week, i spend my time in the train or walking from point A to point B. You can see and observe so much within these 15 hours.

Everyday i see more and more good happening- all the kindness, all the generosity and all the uprightness.. So nourishing. 

But there are also the ignorant, unmindful and dense circle. But its ok, because this world is colourful right.

Just as i thought that everything is perfect in my perfect world. I heard that my newly (introduced to me) colleague would be replaced - because of her sking colour. Disappointing and sad. I wasn't angry or anything. It was just so sad.

To think that we, as a nation has come so far, yet sometimes, somethings still remain the same.
