Memories.

The earliest memory that i could recall from, is just snapshot of pictures taken when i was young.

Maybe when i was about 3 or 4 years old. I remember wearing nappies without shirts,

playing scramble with my brothers ( i had no idea what i was doing, remembering that i loved arranging the lettered-tiles when i see my brothers doing so).There were spider-catching afternoons and hide-and-seek at the playground.They would often play with their friends and leave me with mom.

Mom was a home maker at that time. We use to hang out alot. Morning markets, in the kitchen, at strangers house(when she has teas with other moms), having baths together, but mostly in the living room...where she would braid my hair and we would watch cooking tv shows together, and cartoons.

I had a small rocking chair that i love to sit in all the time, and my smelly soft toy rabbit which i carried around everywhere.Mom says i love to dress up, and like to change a few dresses before deciding what to wear..(still the same... maybe sometimes).. Mostly i remember her manually washing the clothes then scrubbing the toilets.

Then i remember patting her back every time she vomits..sister on the way!!!Then my sister came.

Then i remember being angry,I had to take alot of things for my mom, like nappies, powder, and pins, and baby clothes. And carry the baby and feed her. and love her. and take care of her.

This is her. 

A couple of weeks ago, she had to dress up, she doesn't put on make up and normally wears my shoes and carries one of my bags for these 'dinners'. This very memory came alive.

I remember, it was concert day in school. She applied make up for me-Every kids' dream. 

She even sew the skirt that i was suppose to wear for the concert.

My lips were red, pink cheeks and some eye-shadow.

She's not exactly an expert in doing so, i remember one cheek being red-er than the other.

I was 6, she wore a polka dot dress and my sister wore something blue.

When i was singing on the stage, i looked for her. Everywhere.

But there were too many people in the room. 

It was hot, and camera clicks all over the place.

I couldn't find her. But she said she saw me singing.

Now the roles are reversed, sometimes i help her dress up.

I cook for her the things she likes to eat.

When i paint her cheeks, both of them are of the same intensity.

While lining her eyes, i was taken aback. She's much older now.

Very much older already.

Seems like just yesterday dad and i were waiting in the car,

for her to come home from work.

I loved her hugs. And sleeping on her lap.

My turn to keep a look out for her, and i will. For my dad too.

Now there's a huge lump in my throat.

Hey it's Friday!! But i have to continue studying throughout the weekend, back to back papers coming up.
Today's paper was ok, the only reason i am not jumping up and down declaring i can actually do the paper is because whenever i think i am going to do well. The whole universe will prove me wrong.
There i have said it... so... hahaha!!!

I miss everyone at home, it really feels not so nice staying out all by yourself.

Ikea

Ooohhh Aahhhh

My sis and I went to Ikea a few days ago.

We have been meaning to go since like... forever,

and finally got our asses over there.

I love the meatballs and ice cream there!!!

This little cutie pie is my younger sister... I have been meaning to write a post about my beloved sister, but i never could get around it, because it gets me all emotional.

She's the best thing that have happen in my life.She's my bestest friend.. hahhaha

A person whom i will always lookout for, take care of, love-alot, protect, scold, guide and knock sense into her. She is growing up, getting old and seeing alot of the world.

I am afraid one day she grows up too fast and has her own friends and will never need me again.

I still remember, i used to take her diapers, and feed her milk, and she plays Barbie dolls with me,

and dressing up and when she was younger she always follows me around.. and it usually pisses me off.

She's there when i am having a break up or break down, fat days, slim days,

fail days, pass days, birthdays..

I love you, please don't grow up so fast.

I love you forever Rachel.

You will always be my little sister.

You will be my maid of honor, and will wear Vera Wang too.

My 23rd birthday

Typical weekend.

What a b-e-a-u-tiful day........................

Like every weekend, i make breakfast for two (my sister is bunking in with me), a little squeezed but its filled with laughter and lots of love =D. Every morning i make for her breakfast before she heads off to work.. unless i have an early class in the morning.

So today i woke up wondering what to make for her...... and then i thought Cinnamon Toast!!!!
Ohhh... it was amazing.. first time making cinnamon toast!! i will make it more often now- its so easy!!

How have you been doing? I have been pretty busy with uni... test starts on Monday!! so this weekend is totally for studying. I have been pretty busy whipping up food for sister too.. i mean i cook for myself everyday, but you know.. you tend to plan and cook more when you're serving someone too..
I find it pretty exhausting.. Clean, cooking, going to the gym, uni and studying... Do you too?

Before i start studying i have to clean up my closet, OMG. it so messy i can't find anything.
And i have bought a few things lately... hehehhee =)
So you can see, i bought so FEW things that is has made my closet pretty stocked up.
* do the happy dance* I love having new stuffs, but honestly i think its getting a little pack.
Should i go slow.... or just get a bigger closet.. i mean if its its a small cupboard of course its packed right, but put the clothes from a small cupboard into a big cupboard, all you get is 20% filled. haha.

I think its time for me to be money savvy, since i will be graduating soon and i really plan, to make my money work for me, not the other way round. Life is hard enough and i really don't want to feel like i have to force myself to be a slave for money. Maybe some investment... but i think its totally not the right time- with Greece being on the brink of Bankruptcy.. a recession may hit US market and then it will happen with the rest of the world. so yea..... omg... did i just sound like financial person... hahahhaa.....
